10:30 AMContemporary Outdoor Worship (June 6 - Aug 29, 2010)
Designed for those who love praising God with a rock and roll beat, Bethel’s spirited contemporary worship provides a great blend of the familiar and the innovative. Each week the worship band will get your heart pounding and feet thumping and the pastors will make the Bible come alive for life in the 21st century. The sacrament of Holy Communion is offered on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of the month. This outdoor worship experience is not to be missed.
Saturday, August 149:00 AMBethel Outing - DeYoung Museum (Aug 14 @ 9am)
All are invited to the first of many fun Bethel group outings... the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. The “Birth of Impressionism” display from the Musee De’Orsay includes works of art from Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Passarro, and others. Nearly 100 magnificent masterpieces are being shown nowhere else in the world while the Musee D’Orsay is retrofitted. Rumor has it this may be the last time these works of art will ever leave France. We‘ll leave Bethel (by Youth bus) at 9:00am sharp for a 10:30 slot at DeYoung, then go to lunch afterwards. Group tickets range from $10 - $20 per person (children under 6 free). A freewill offering to cover the cost of fuel and parking is appreciated. Sign-up on Sundays through August 7, or contact Ed Fox (facilities@bethelcupertino.org).
