9:15 AMAdult Ed - "The Lord's Prayer" (begins Sun. Feb. 21)
When His disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, He answered with the sixty-two words we now refer to as The Lord's Prayer. The third century theologian Tertullian once declared that the Lord's Prayer was a summary of the whole gospel. If he was right, then Jesus' message for us as we turn to Him this Lenten season is all condensed in those ancient but ever new words that Jesus taught his followers to pray. Join us for the Book of Faith Lenten Journey, a six-week course in the Lord's Prayer. Beginning February 21 and ending March 28, Sunday mornings at either 9:15am or 10:30am in the Fireside Room. Classes will be taught by Pastor Randy, Pastor Lori, and Dave Denny.

Maundy Thursday is the day on which Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples, sharing a meal with them which we call The Last Supper. The word “Maundy“ comes from the Latin for ‘command’. It refers to the command given by Jesus that his disciples should love one another. Sign up on Sundays beginning in March. Space is limited. Childcare will be provided.
