Life Maintenance programs are practical services that enable older persons to safely remain in their homes while growing more frail. Typical services include arranging transportation, telephone reassurance, Stephen Ministry and pastoral calls. Life recognition offers specific kinds of sessions that help persons grapple with life changes, personal growth and developing skills to handle the changes that occur. These include a variety of health-education and preventive health-care programs. Questions are raised about life's meaning.
