Bethel MenBethel offers many opportunities for men and women to learn and serve. The following activities are for men only. Here are the opportunities for women only. Men's BreakfastMeets every 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at 7:30 AM at Torvend Hall, to foster fellowship, give prayer support, and discuss use of Christian principles in our daily lives. The group is informal, requires no sign up, and welcomes all ages. Contact Nick Arnett for details. Signup for men's breakfast announcements here. Men of MondayCome join Bethel's very own Men of Monday. These men meet every Monday Morning from 9 AM to noon, rain or shine, to help restore, rebuild and better the facilities of Bethel. If you would like to help in this ministry contact Brad Martinson at Bethel or simply show up on a Monday morning. All are welcome to participate! Men's Night Out (1st Monday)Meet on 1st Monday of each month until December 5 at 7:30PM - 9:00PM in Fireside Room. "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:12) A fairly new ministry for men meets on the first Monday of each month. Men need to manage many roles in life. While we might learn formally and informally how to be effective in these roles, connecting with other men can be really helpful. Men's Night Out is designed to create a space for men of all ages to come together to worship God, hear each other's stories, learn more about God's involvement in our lives, and support one another. Meetings will include a time of worship, testimony, teaching, fellowship and prayer. Each month we'll consider a particular topic during the testimonial and teaching time, and allow small-group discussions on that topic. While men may be at different stages of life, our common desire to learn about and serve the Lord binds us together. Men's Night Out is also intended to be a time for men to invite and welcome their friends to experience Bethel in a setting different than Sunday morning, and to learn more about God's relevance in our lives. Please come and invite your friends. See the calendar or contact Steve French for more details. |
