WHEN: Wednesday, June 24th. We meet at Bethel at 12:00 pm to depart on our journey. We’ll return the same evening around 8:00 pm LOCATION: Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk FOOD: Bring at least $20 to cover your food. Bring a card because the boardwalk is cashless. WHO WILL BE THERE: Bethel’s Middle School, Sr. High and College age youth. SPONSORS: Tom Hoegel, Harumy Miura and Robyn Winegardner TRANSPORTATION: We will be taking the Lord’s Bus :-) COST: $40 for a day wristband if you want and $20 min on your debit card for food. WHEN: Wednesday, July 15th. We meet at Bethel 7:00 am on the 15th to depart on our journey. We’ll return the same evening around 6:00 pm. LOCATION: Down the American River, near Rancho Cordova. We have been renting our gear from “American River Raft Rentals” for the past 52 years and are their longest running customer. We’ll be renting 6 person rafts plus one “dry (moist) boat” for food and some personal belongings. FOOD: Bring some $’s for food since we’ll stop for some snacks on the way up and back. You also need to bring a sack lunch and drink for our lunch stop along the river. WHO WILL BE THERE: Bethel’s Jr. High, Sr. High, and College age youth. SPONSORS: Tom Hoegel and a host of other adults TRANSPORTATION: We will be taking the church bus. COST: $45 per person (cash or check to Bethel Lutheran).
