An information session regarding our proposed "Safe Community" Policy. Bethel's staff and council have been working on a policy over the last several months with the following goals: To ensure that we provide a setting where children are physically and emotionally safe, where parents are assured of their child's safety, and where staff and volunteers are equipped, supported and held accountable as they lead and nurture those they work with. Adopting this policy will bring about some changes in recruiting, screening and training of volunteers and staff who work with children and youth. An information session describing these changes will be held on Sunday May 15, at 12:15 in the Music & Ed Room. Snacks will be provided. If you would like to learn more, please attend this session.
