This class is designed specifically for anyone in 3rd through 6th grade who is ready to begin receiving Holy Communion and desires “basic training.” Through video, music, personal interviews and a Quizbowl, this class will creatively delve into the meaning and mystery of God and the way He blesses us through Holy Communion. One thing is sure: God isn’t boring and this class won’t be either. This class is open to anyone who wishes to attend. You don’t have to be a member of Bethel or any other Lutheran church to participate. Please note that this is a family class and therefore one or both parents are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend both sessions. First Communion will be celebrated on Easter Sunday at all three services.
