Imagine spending a morning gazing at mist-shrouded Mt. Kilimanjaro and an afternoon bringing hope to an AIDS orphan. Bethel's third Mission to Tanzania team is now forming. The journey will take place in July/August 2010 (exact dates and costs to be determined). Highlights of the trip will be visiting the Maasai Girls Lutheran Secondary School, visiting the Kikarara AIDs orphans and nutrition projects, working at the New Life Band's school, and getting to enjoy a bit of the scenery on a safari. If you are interested, please contact Katie Pabst or Pastor Randy as soon as you can. We will have an information meeting on Sunday, January 3 from 12:00-1:00pm in the Church Library. Please bring a lunch. We will show some pictures, answer your questions and discuss dates/costs. If you are dreaming of seeing Africa in a way tourists never will, this is your chance. If you are interested in joining us on the trip this year, a $500 deposit will need to be received by January 15 to hold your spot.
