NEW ADULT BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITY Ready to put your new Book of Faith skills to work? Join us on either Sunday morning or Monday evening for a Bible Study in the Gospel of Mark. This eight-week Book of Faith class begins Sunday, September 19 in the Fireside Room. There are three scheduling options for your convenience: You can attend at 9:15am or 10:30am on Sunday mornings or at 7:30pm on Monday evenings. The Gospel of Mark is believed to be the earliest of the four canonical gospels. Composed during a time of crisis and addressed to those living in the Roman Empire under Nero, this record of Christ's ministry is known for its fast pace and special emphasis on Jesus as the Son of God, actively bringing God's kingdom to light on earth. Our study looks at eight key passages in the Gospel, focusing on the devotional, literary, historical, and Lutheran theological framework.
