Topic: "Understanding Your Child's Learning Style", An Experiential Workshop presented by Gloria Moskowitz-Sweets, Parents Place Community Education Center Coordinator. She has been a parent educator since 1981, school consultant, and spent 20 yrs. as Professor of the graduate program of Social Work at SJSU. Your child's learning style is how your child processes and learns new information. All children learn in different ways. When parents understand their child's learning style, they will be better able to help them be successful learners. The goal of the workshop is to understand your child's unique approach to learning and to recognize your own learning style and how it either differs from or is similar to your child's style. This event is open to the community.
