Come join the Out 'n About group as we follow in the footsteps of the world famous Guy Fieri and visit the Santa Cruz Diner on 909 Ocean Street. Schedule:
10:30am – 12noon - Classic diner fare meets Vietnamese comfort food at this homey California spot. The family-friendly diner serves everything from eggs Benedict to spicy Thai coconut soup, and Guy says the pho (a rice noodle soup with thinly sliced beef and broth) is "crazy good."
Special Dishes: Reubens, Pork and Shrimp Spring Rolls, Shrimp and Salmon Cakes visit the Santa Cruz Dinner.
12noon – 2:30pm - After lunch the bus will drop you at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk / Pier (or you could walk the 1.5 miles yourself) where you can make your own adventure. Great people watching, maybe go on the carousel, or walk the pier for ~ 1.5 hours.
2:00pm – 3:00pm – Make a quick stop at Marianne’s Ice Cream shop on Ocean Street for a scoop of your favorite (105 flavors) world famous ice cream.
3:00pm - The Bus will collect everyone and head back to Bethel so you can put your evening plans into action.
