As we prepare to re-launch two Mission to Mexico Trips in 2022, I’m putting together a handful of experiences to get a larger view of immigration in the U.S. I have been in conversation with Leah Thomas for several years now about a program where we have the privilege of spending time hearing the stories of farmworkers concluding with a meal. Check out this link for details: Farmworker Family. We will be taking up to 29 people (the capacity of the bus) leaving Bethel at 1:15pm to head over to Watsonville. The experience with the farmworkers is from 3pm to 6:30pm and we will be back by 8pm. The cost of the outing is a $25 per person donation and Bethel’s Youth Ministries will be paying for all youth going. Adults will be asked to make a donation.
