Lace up your walking shoes and Hop on the Bethel bus (or drive yourself and meet up with us) as we head out to San Jose for this year’s Saint Patty’s Walking Beer tour. For those on the Bus we will meet at Bethel at 11am and then head over to our first stop which will be at Beer Market in San Pedro Square Market. Planning to arrive there around 11:30am. There are 30 taps running as well as bottled beers in the chillers. Along with your beer you can grab lunch at the food court with over a dozen vendors. There is indoor as well outdoor seating. We will plan on spending 90 minutes at this stop. Leaving Beer Market we will take a 20 minute (.8 mile) walk (or you can catch a ride on the bus) along W St John Street, turning on Barack Obama Blvd, taking us by Guadalupe Park and past the Shark Tank to reach our second destination, Floodcraft Brewing. This is part of the Whole Foods at 777 The Alameda. In the outdoor seating area head up the stairs to the tap room and upper patio. They have 21 taps pouring samplers and full glasses of their beers as well as other breweries. Grab a table on the upper patio or head back downstairs where there are plenty of spots. You can order food at the bar or head into the store the pick something out. From Floodcraft we will walk (or you can take the bus) for about 30 minutes (1 mile) along Sunol Street out to Lincoln Ave to reach Hapa’s Brewing at 460 Lincoln Ave, Ste. 90. (drivers turn on Auzerais Ave for parking behind the building) They have about a dozen taps going of their brews that you can get as tasters, pints or cans to go. There is seating inside as well as outside along the side of the building. If you are still hungry they have warm pretzels, grilled cheese and a Charcuterie Board. There is a chance a food truck will also be out front. Finishing at Hapa’s around 4pm the bus will return to Bethel following dropping off anyone that needs a lift back to their car.

Self-drivers target being a San Pedro Square around 11:30am
Note: Vaccination and mask are required to ride the bus.

Return to Bethel around 4:30pm
