Description: |
Come and meet the farmworkers that are responsible for the fruits, vegetables and nuts that most of us consume daily. Hear their stories and learn about their lives along the Central Coast of California. We will visit their “homes” and learn about the many obstacles they face in their heroic day-to-day struggle to survive and raise their families. We will be taking up to 29 people (the capacity of the bus) leaving Bethel at 1:15pm to head over to Watsonville. The experience with the farmworkers is from 3-8pm and we will be back by 9pm. The cost of the outing is a $25 per person donation. When you sign up you will be asked to make a donation. After you sign up for the tour, go to the sign up link for the bus to make sure we save you a spot. Here are the two sign up links: Farmworker tour Your ticket for the Bethel Bus
