Join us for a day at the Exploratorium! Located in San Francisco, the Exploratorium is a public learning laboratory exploring the world through science, art, and human perception. The newest event is “Look up: Eclipse, Moon and Mars”, featuring an immersive eclipse experience along with meeting NASA’s Mars’ rovers and orbiters.

Meet:	Bethel Parking Lot at 8:15am
Fuel Cost:	$10 pp or $30 for family of 4 or more, (Cash or check made out to “Bethel Lutheran Church”)
Ticket Costs:	Purchase tickets online at the Exploratorium’s website.
Food:	Enjoy a sit-down meal at the Seaglass Restaurant or grab something at the walk-up Seismic Joint Café. You are also a short walk to the Ferry Building.
Return:	Back to Bethel by 3:30pm

The Bethel bus is headed to Carmel for a glorious day of spectacular vistas including a delicious lunch!! We’ll dine at Carmel Highlands Inn offering its spectacular views, but the morning can bring you vistas and pleasures as well! Carmel offers its alluring white sand beach as a place to walk and rest. It has been attracting attention since 1770. The city is home to the captivating fairy tale houses along with its other types of fascinating architecture. The historic downtown, centered on Ocean Avenue, features its captivating boutique style shopping (Don’t miss the Cheese Shop!) as well as many art galleries. (Thanks to the Carmel Art Association begun in 1927; 98 years ago!). A chance to enjoy a day of fascination and peacefulness.
