Activity Cart
for children to use during worship
April 30, 2023
We have two activity carts that are located at the back of the sanctuary to the right when entering the sanctuary and from the back and to the left when leaving the back of the sanctuary.
Each bag has a child’s name on it, and that bag is personalized for that child. We are striving to help each child that attends Bethel to know that they are welcome and that they belong in worship. There are also bags that have a tag that say Welcome; this is for any child who is new and or visiting. If your child will continue to attend, you can write your child’s name on the tag. When your child is done using the bag for worship, they can put it back on the cart for the following Sunday.
There are activity sheets, coloring sheets and children’s Worship Bulletins in the bags. Your child can choose what feels right for them. There is blank paper on the cart under the bags. On the other cart, there are books that they can also use during worship and bring back when they are done.
I have also provided bags that are labeled sensory bags. This is for anyone who would find noise cancelling headphones and or sensory items helpful. As we continue to Do Life Together, we welcome everyone, those who may also take in the world differently. We want everyone’s experience at Bethel to be as welcoming and comfortable as it can be. When items from the sensory bags are used, we ask that they be put in the box labeled to be disinfected and we will clean them to be used for the next Sunday.
