Bethel Covid Guidelines
Mar 7, 2023
Dear Bethel Family,
We have just passed the 3 year mark for our journey with Covid. It has challenged and shaped each of us individually and as a congregation. Our primary focus was, and is the safety and mental/spiritual health of each of you. To that end we set guidelines for our physical interactions and worked hard to stay engaged with our members and friends near and far. We honed our online worship skills, offered zooms get togethers, lawn signs, virtual outings, home kits, and even the critically acclaimed “Bethel’s Staff Loves You” monthly videos :-) Throughout this whole time, Bethel has never been a super spreader community and for that we give God thanks!
As most official regulations have ceased last week, we realize that our worshipping community still has people that are really cautious regarding being with us on Sunday mornings. To that end, we will be removing the Covid signs on our entrance doors but will still be setting aside the far right section of the sanctuary for those who want to worship and be seated with others who are masked.
Bethel is committed to offer as many options to accommodate the comfort level of our members. We have in person and online traditional worship, we have in person and online contemporary worship, we have outdoor worship for half of the year, plus we have zoom and in person meetings. We still encourage you to be vaccinated if possible and we fully support anyone who wants to come masked. We are in this together, friends.
Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility as we craft new ways of Doing Life Together!
Peace and much health!
