Vadim Rivkin was born in St.Petersburg ( Russia) to a musical family. He has studied music since childhood. He graduated from the State Conservatory in St. Petersburg with a degree in composition. He has been a member of the Union of Composers since 1974. His masters degree was with the famous composer Sergej Slonimsky.
Vadim has worked in art studios, theatre, and music colleges. After he moved to California he worked as a music teacher at Stratford School, a piano accompanist at Bayer Ballet Academy and an accompanist at Waldorf School of the Peninsula (WSP) in class eurythmy.
Vadim has written romances, music for plays, and music for orchestra. He has also written several musicals and among them “Miracle Journey of Edvard Tulain” by Keit De Camillo. Đ¢his year Vadim published his opera “Samson” with Petersburg Publishing House.
